What is Samba?
Samba is a license-free alternative to the Windows NT/2000 server for your organization. Samba implements the SMB protocol that allows Unix and Unix like systems and machines to be seamlessly integrated into a Windows network without installing any additional software on the Window boxes. All PC-related machines in the network will then be able to share files and printers with your Unix server. Samba is able to integrate into many different operating systems, making it a very adaptable alternative to other servers.

What kind of Samba Consulting Services do we provide?
Ansotech provides commercial consulting and support of Samba networks for many different organizations around the country. Our team of professionals at Ansotech has been trained not only in the integration, but supporting of Samba networks as well. Our consultants have a broad understanding of Unix, Linux, Windows systems, as well as Samba protocols.

Samba Support/Consulting prices

Samba support and consulting services can be contracted on a yearly basis or on a project by project basis.

Yearly Samba contract: $1,200 a month. Includes up to 5 hours of technical support and service per month; each additional hour is billed at $80.00
Project by project basis: $240 an hour*

For new systems there is a one time set up and implementation fee of $700 - $1,400 depending on the degree of service needed.
